These boats came across the horizon when we were at Station Yankee off the Mekong Delta. No one knew if they were friendly or not. Destroyer next to us went from dead stop to full speed in very short time and fired a round across the bow to get them to heave to. Seemed like there would be a shoot out for a few minutes.
